Suncatcher is the debut release of the duo that goes under the name of Crescent Days, however for this release they under go a different name, accompanying the different name is a different sound.
Suncatcher relies heavily on the use of delay and reverb pedals to create layers of harmonious guitar walls, creating layers upon layers of droney shoegaze riffs to create the atmosphere akin to the intensity of a heatwave during a bright summers day, accompanied with droney vocals on tracks such as Defeated By Sunlight and Bathing in the Poisonous Sun breeze, the approach of tracks such as Suncatcher and Spectre rely on a much more Post-metal and Shoegaze approach, hitting with midpaced riffs drenched in the delay to create a miasma of splendor, along with drums and the same droney vocals, however the droney singing is also accompanied with post-metal screams to fully bring these songs to life. The ambience created with Suncatcher is one where the listener should sit and enjoy as a whole, as it works greater as an entire album, however that is not to say that these songs arent solid when listened apart.
